Halloween doesn’t

have to be scary.

There’s a light that shines brighter than the darkness.

His name is Jesus.

Halloween can be a scary & dark time for many of us…

But we think there’s another story worth discovering, one filled with light, hope, love and life.

That’s why christians and churches from across Sheffield have come together to launch the Happy Halloween Project.

what are we doing?

Trick OR Treat

'Truth & Bags'

Followers of Jesus will be handing out ‘Truth & Treat’ Bags’ when 'Trick OR Treaters’ knock this October 31st.

Inside they will find a story book, stickers that bring hope and potentially some tasty chocolates!

PARTIES

Light Parties are hosted by churches across Sheffield as an alternative to Halloween Parties.

Full of fun, light, joy and hope - no scary costumes.

A illuminated wall sign with a smiling face and the words "YOU ARE LOVED" underneath. There is also a smaller sign that says "#STREETSOFLIGHT".

When many homes are covered with scary displays we’re encouraging people to decorate their homes to places of light and hope - inviting people to stop and smile. Let’s bring joy to our communities.
